Our members include associations, restaurateurs, accommodation providers, tourism professionals, communes, communities of communes and individuals. Our aim is to promote and enliven Brittany’s waterways. Whether you live here, or are just here for a day trip or a holiday, you can escape to the waterways and forget the pressures of daily life. And we can help you to plan and enjoy stay!

Running transversally from Nantes, the city of the dukes, to Brest, the largest Breton port, the canal passes through the heart of rural Brittany.

The Blavet flows from north to south through the ancient ducal city of Pontivy, past its mediaeval fortress to the 19th century imperial city laid out on a grid pattern and briefly named Napoleonville.

From the channel port of St. Malo, once the domain of Surcouf, the privateer, head south to the Atlantic, following the river Rance to join the canal at the Chatelier lock
